Previously I showed you how to set up a Virtual Machine on Windows 8 using Hyper-V.If you want to enhance the experience and fluidity of the VM, install Integration Services. According to Microsoft. While Client Hyper-V is built into the 64-bit versions of Windows 8 Pro and Windows 8 Enterprise, it is not installed by default. However, you can do so easily from the Programs and Features tool.

Oct 22, 2014  Hyper-V in Windows 8.1 I want to install MASM on my windows 8.1 laptop but I need to install WINDOWS 7 through HYPER-V. I'm not able to find out HYPER-V MANAGER in my laptop n I've also checked in the CONTROL PANEL. The import for Hyper-V v3 in Windows 8 is a little picky about just which folder you select. Drill down each level into your VM's folder structure and try it until it works basically.

I don't see Hyper-V at 'Windows Futures'. I turned on virtualization in BIOS. I also check that my computer is a SLAT capable machine.

With Windows 8, Microsoft has integrated the robust and well-known Hyper-V feature in the client OS as well. In simple words, Microsoft has introduced this Windows Server OS technology in the recently released Windows 8 client OS as well.

Client Hyper-V is a flexible, robust, and high performance client virtualization technology that allows you run multiple operating system instances simultaneously on their Windows 8 computer. In simple words, if your edition of Windows 8 and PC supports Hyper-V, then you won’t need third-party virtualization solutions such as VMware and VirtualBox to run virtual machines on your Windows 8 PC.

Hyper-V provides an environment that you can use to create and manage virtual machines and their resources. Each virtual machine is an isolated, virtualized computer system that runs its own operating system. This allows you to run multiple operating systems simultaneously.
